Allyssa and Anthony

Allyssa and Anthony have been dating for the past 4 years and I was excited when Allyssa contacted me to photograph them both "just because".  We often forget that there are so many "just because" moments in our lives that should be celebrated and remembered.  Beautiful photos shouldn't be saved just for special occasions!  

They opted for an evening, sunlit session in downtown Kelowna - Just beautiful!  We met by The Dolphins landmark and slowly made our way down the boardwalk and beyond stopping here and there along the way.  The laughter, smiles and stolen kisses that these two would exchange made me remember just how special it is to be in love.

Maternity - Matt and Jill plus Baby

Matt and Jill are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their baby boy on July 2nd!  (One of my particularly favourite dates as that is Lyndon and my wedding anniversary!)  I was honoured to take pregnancy photos of this beautiful, little family while they were visiting their families here in Kelowna.

Jill had envisioned a photo location that would showcase Kelowna and the unique and beautiful landscape where both her and Matt have grown up.  It just so happened that the apple trees were in bloom and ready to be photographed!  We were blessed with a beautiful, sunshiny day with a warm sunset in amidst the many rain showers we have been getting throughout this month.  I knew Jill would come prepared with many adorable and perfect accessories to make her look just absolutely adorable!  Jill, also being so crafty, even made a little banner sending a love-message to their sweet little one.  :)

I loved photographing you two and your sweet baby-bump, Jill.  Seeing the excitement on both of you as your baby's due-date approaches is so wonderful and a joy to behold.  I hope these photos will be cherished memories for both you and Baby-T for years and years to come!

Engaged : Krista and Dennis

Krista and Dennis are getting married next August at the beautiful Quaaout Lodge located on Shuswap Lake!  When I met Krista and Dennis for their session, it had been raining all morning and continued to do so in spurts throughout their entire shoot.  They were totally game to keep going and did not let the dismal weather dim the smiles of joy and love that they so clearly have for one another!  With their unique sense of humor and funny t-shirts that they both love so much, they truly brought the sunshine to the afternoon :)  Thank you so much for spending it with me, Krista and Dennis!
