Coleton

Meet my little brother - Coleton.  I remember the day that my parent's brought him home.  Looking so innocent in his cotton, blue outfit I still cried out of fear that one day he would be bigger than I and beat me up.  Well, one thing is certain, this 6'2" young man towers over my 5'6" frame but a fighter, he is not.    This year he is graduating high school and I had the honour of taking these photos.  I am so blessed to have this young man as my little brother.  He is kind has a heart of gold and gives a great bear-hug!  Congrats Buddy - love you! - Tiffany

Beauty from the Beast

Let's face it, after Christmas passes, Winter really has no other purpose.  It's cold, it's dreary, it's icy.  No more "Jingle Bells" or songs about frosted window panes, just runny noses and dry hands.  While this has been true for me since December 26th, about two weeks ago, I was shown just a glimpse of the beauty that the Lord has painted over this creation that can only be seen on the coldest of days.  Kelowna was hit with a major cold-spell a couple weeks ago and from that, the most beautiful thing was frozen in time for a moment.  This amazing, fine, frost formed over just about everything!  I would look out my window and it was like stepping into a black and white photo.  This frost was dusted over every branch and surface imaginable!  It's days like this in the midst of the most dismal season that I am reminded of the amazing Creator who puts so much effort and design into every detail.  I am just so grateful that He calmed my spirit long enough for me to enjoy it.  Hope you will all enjoy it as well!  - Tiffany

The Johnson 5

Lyndon and I have had the privilege of getting to know this beautiful family over the past 2-ish years.  Steve is the junior youth pastor at our church here in Kelowna and Candice is his lovely wife and together, they have some of the most beautiful children - ever!  I had the opportunity to photograph Candice and her family before they welcomed the newest member of their family into the world!  Turns out this post is a little 'out-dated' as they welcomed sweet baby Emry into the world this last weekend!  She just didn't want to miss out on any more of the fun - I totally get it!  I have no doubt that Ella and Tylin will make two of the best big brother and sister there ever was!  You all are wonderful - Love you guys!  - Tiffany
